"I'm writing a movie right now. It's very action packed," the bikini-clad reality star, 23, told UsMagazine.com Sunday at the opening of the Liquid Pool Lounge at Las Vegas' Aria Resort & Casino. I'm going to be completely honest with you: I would stab my grandmother in the neck just to read one of Heidi's screenplays. Mostly because I want to see this dialog happen: ARMY MAN Related StoriesFive Filters featured article: Chilcot Inquiry. Available tools: PDF Newspaper, Full Text RSS, Term Extraction. 'Iron Man 2' ready to kick off summer movie season - Examiner Posted: 11 Apr 2010 04:59 PM PDT "Iron Man 2" will more or less kick off the start of the official movie season on May 7th. And that's barely three weeks away. The trailers and product tie-in commercials are already beginning to flood the airwaves and before long the stars will no doubt be hitting the late night talk show circuit. Paramount has issued an official plot synopsis, reprinted with permission here: In "Iron Man 2," the world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is the armored Super Hero Iron Man. Under pressure from the government, the press and the public to share his technology with the military, Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands. With Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and James "Rhodey" Rhodes (Don Cheadle) at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces. By "powerful new forces," you should read Mickey Rourke as a new incarnation of Whiplash, in this version a Russian baddie with high-tech, high-voltage mayhem-making equipment. Advance word is that Rourke is very good in this movie. Also beginning to pop up more prominently in the trailers is Scarlett Johansson as The Black Widow. Other than the fact that she wears tight, black costumes and kicks butt, not much else we can say about her part at this point. Obviously, to comic book fans, the potential exists for her reprise the part in additional sequels and spinoffs and it does appear that she could be in "The Avengers," which is slated to start filming early in 2011. The very talented Don Cheadle takes over the role of James Rhodes, played by Terrance Howard in "Iron Man." Samuel L. Jackson returns as Nick Fury, this time actually billed in the credits. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige talked exclusively to the Capital District Movies Examiner last fall and said at that time that Nick Fury was the "glue" holding a number of Marvel elements together. He further confirmed that Jackson had signed a multi-picture to play Fury in a number of projects, as had Johansson. Marvel is busily bringing a number of its major characters to the big screen. As many fans already know, "Thor," being directed by Kenneth Branagh, with Chris Hemsworth in the title role, is well into principal photography. That movie features an all-star cast of international heavyweights in the supporting roles, including Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Stellan Skarsgard, Rene Russo and Kat Dennings. "The First Avenger: Captain America" is scheduled to begin production in June, with Joe Johnston ("The Rocketeer," "October Sky," "Jurassic Park III," "The Wolfman") helming. Chris Evans, who has already played The Human Torch in Twentieth Century Fox's "Fantastic Four" movies is playing Captain America. Hugo Weaving reportedly will be playing the Red Skull. Feige confirmed to the Capital District Movies Examiner that "Captain America" will have a World War II setting. "Iron Man 2," like its hit predecessor, is directed by Jon Favreau. The screenplay is Justin Theroux, and the movie is produced by Kevin Feige, with co-producers Jeremy Latcham and Victoria Alonso. Executive producers are Alan Fine, Stan Lee, David Maisel, Denis L. Stewart, Louis D'Esposito, Jon Favreau and Susan Downey. For more info: http://www.examiner.com/x-18039-Capital-District-Movies-Examiner~y2009m9d2-The-Marvel-plan
