MTV Movie Awards: Tom Cruise dances with JLo and talks movies with ... - Examiner Posted: 06 Jun 2010 11:16 PM PDT Message from Five Filters: If you can, please donate to the full-text RSS service so we can continue developing it. Tom Cruise as the foul-mouthed, balding Les Grossman, first introduced to us in the American satirical movie "Tropic Thunder" is back for the MTV Movie awards tonight (6 June 2010) and he's giving advise to Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner from the "Twilight" saga, and to Jaden and his father Will Smith. Then he's on the stage to dance with Jennifer Lopez. How crazy is that? If you recall, Grossman is a middle-aged producer and to play him, Cruise uses a fatsuit, large prosthetic hands and a bald cap and he dances. For the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, Grossman helped begin the show with a special introductory video. Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are going from "Twilight" to "Bad Ass Cops" for Grossman. And there's reference to a piece of coal and a diamond. Grossman does make an appearance on the show--after the Ed Helms and Ken Jeong piano (Helms) and tiger dance (Jeong) number. After banishing the two, Cruise as Grossman comes on stage with a large dollar sign pendant asks Ludacris to help him out. Grossman gets on stage (and he's better than Katie Holmes as Lola) with girls dancing in booty shorts and shirts. And then we have Jennifer Lopez hitting the stage in a shot silver dress and thigh high silver boots.

Ms Perry is set to perform at the annual awards show along with Snoop Dogg and Christina Aguilera. Footage from the forthcoming "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" will be featured while some of the presenters include Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz and Robert Pattinson. MTV Movie Awards Host Aziz Ansari Says Yes to Twlight ... - Popsugar Posted: 06 Jun 2010 11:45 PM PDT Message from Five Filters: If you can, please donate to the full-text RSS service so we can continue developing it. The big three — Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner — will take the stage inside the MTV Movie Awards, and on the red carpet the rest of the Eclipse cast get their moment in the sun. Elizabeth Reaser is wearing a plunging tuxedo jumpsuit while adorable Anna Kendrick brightens things up in her minidress. Nikki Reed told us that seeing Christina Aguilera made her heart beat faster as she made her way inside. Xavier Samuel is a new addition to the crew and will have a few more suits to don this month before the movie comes out, and Jackson Rathbone was his typical dapper self. Kristen just arrived at the show a few minutes ago; she whisked by us with her extensions and in D&G on her way in — the awards are about to start! Ken Jeong Gets The WTF Treatment At MTV Movie Awards - Thaindian.com Posted: 07 Jun 2010 01:04 AM PDT Message from Five Filters: If you can, please donate to the full-text RSS service so we can continue developing it. By Madhuri Dey Surprisingly enough, the list of winners did not impress many, as it seemed that many of the winners were not quite deserving of the honor bestowed on them. For example, many of the observers felt that the fact that "New Moon: The Twilight Saga" managed to grab so many nominations and even took home the awards was rather unfair, considering that they had as competition far more serious films like "Avatar". However, the winner of the unique category that is presented in the MTV Movie Awards was not disputed by any; Ken Jeong as the winner of the Best WTF Moment. Ken Jeong won in the category of the best WTF Moment in films for his role in the hit blockbuster "The Hangover", in which he essayed the role of Mr Chow. He won the award for the Best WTF Moment for the scene in the film in which he is seen jumping out of the car, stark naked, in broad daylight. Needless to say, this nomination and win did not garner any dispute from any quarter, considering that the scene very much deserved the WTF treatment. Incidentally, Ken Jeong had also been nominated in the category of the Best Villain, again for his role of Mr. Chow in the film "The Hangover". However, he lost out the award to Tom Felton, who took the award home for his reprisal of the role of the scheming teenage wizard Draco Malfoy in the film "Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince."
