Justib Bieber: The 3-D Movie Star - Hollyscoop.com

Just two years ago, Justin Bieber was a little kid posting videos of himself on Youtube hoping to get discovered. He got discovered all right!

Usher saw Bieber's videos and took him under his wing. The rest is history.

Bieber has become a pop phenomenon so were not surprised that there is a movie being made about the 16-year old. Paramount Pictures has acquired the rights to Bieber's "life story."

The cool part about all of this is that Bieber is actually gonna star in his own movie and it will be in 3-D.

Bieber told his fans about the news on Twitter. "Next Valentine's we r coming with a major 3D Movie telling the story with an Oscar winning director and also filmin the tour at MSG in NYC!!"

He added: "This is so sick!! Gonna come out in theatres Worldwide Valentine's 2011!!! I'm taking this thing worldwide thanks to u all!! Hyped!!"

Bieber has a book and movie in the works. We're thinking he's gonna get into fashion next. Usher is one smart guy!

Justin Timberlake excited about playing Boo-Boo in 'Yogi' movie, trailer (video) - Gather.com

Posted: 31 Jul 2010 08:49 AM PDT

Justin Timberlake can't get this out of his head: "Hey Boo-Boo hows about getting us one of those pic-in-nic baskets!" It turns out the pop-star, Justin Timberlake, is really excited about doing the voiceover for a famous cartoon character.

Justin is playing Boo-Boo, Yogi Bear's sidekick in a new part-live action movie due out in late 2010. Comedian, Dan Aykroyd plays the role of Yogi. Timberlake was a huge fan of the show as a kid and in an interview with Virgin Media expressed his approach to the role. "I will say this, Dan does an amazing Yogi Bear and hopefully I did Boo-Boo justice. But we're really - for lack of a better term - mimicking what you recognize as those voices from the cartoon."

"It's pretty awesome. I used to watch the cartoon as a kid," said the 28-year old, Timberlake, "You're talking about a classic, two classic characters which have been around since my parents. Yogi Bear is an iconic Hanna Barbera cartoon. So it's been a lot of fun."

Will it work? It is one thing to create a character, it is quite another to try to do an impression of someone else's character. It is a fine line between character and caricature. From the sounds of the trailer, Timberlake does a pretty good job. Yogi Bear is due out in theaters this December.
